Battle for the Paddle

United Goodyear Firefighter Charities has partnered up with one of our active retirement communities, CantaMia, for a yearly pickleball tournament. Established in 2022, members of the United Goodyear Firefighters “battle” for bragging rights and good times on the court. At the event the residents are able to showcase more than just their quick feet and fast hands like crafts, jewelry, baked goods and more! At the end, we finish with a silent auction of various prizes put together by local businesses and residents. We love partnering with our community and being able to bond over a growing sport.
